The Made Shop Introduction
Welcome to the many new followers here. I wanted to give a brief re-introduction to all of us here at The Made Shop (and try out Tumblr’s new photosets).
We’re a small family-run design shop based in Denver, New Haven, and sometimes New York. We make architecture, objects, and graphic designs. The stuff we post here is about 50% things we’ve found that intrigue and inspire us and 50% things we’ve made (or are currently making) that we hope intrigue and inspire you. My name is Marke. I’m the Principal Designer here and I run this tumblr. Kimberly is my wife and our Shop Manager and she keeps this whole thing running and profitable. Nathan is my older brother and our Art Director. He’s also a music producer, film composer, and the leader of The Cinematic Underground music collective, and you can follow along with all of those endeavors on his tumblr. Zachary is my younger brother and works on all our Art and Illustration projects. He’s also a writer, artist, and drummer and you can follow along with all of that work on his tumblr. Also, our design intern this year is Mark Romero — I don’t have a picture of him, but he’s on tumblr too.
And, as is probably clear already, all the real work is done by our daughter, Miss Maxx.
